Political Impasse in Nepal

Nearly 5 years has been lapsed since the Nepal was declared as Republic Nation but still the Constituent Assembly is unable to give Nepal a firm Constitution based on Consensus between various national parties. The uncooperative and selfish behaviour of the poltical parties has been cited as the major cause behind derailing of the peace process.
With the dissolution of Constituent Assembly in the may,2012 and the pressure put by the President Ram Baran Yadav for the Consenus between various political parties in the recent days has started paying dividend in the form of a nearly agreement  between four parties to make the Chief Justice as the interim Prime Minister to carry the functioning of the govt oversighting  the elections for the next constituent assembly  till a new government is formed.
But this solution itself has its own obstacles and pitfalls
Firstly the petiton filed againist the proposal which has to be heared by the Justice Sushila Karki need to be rejected.
Secondly a Constitution Amendment is required as the interim constitution has no provisions for changing the govt in the absence of a Parliament.
Thirdly,Any Constitution Amendment is bound to be challenged in the SC.
Fourthly,Many political parties including CPN(Maoist) have declared that they will not consider Mr Regmi appointment as legitimate.
To overturn the potential risks attached with this proposal it need a poltical mechanism to oversee Mr Regmi Tenure and putting a deadline for the elections.
The impasse of Poltical Situation which encompasses the Nepal needs to be resolved as early as possible for the economical and social growth and welfare of the Nepali Citizen who are the worst sufferer of the political deadlock.

Swearing of first woman President in South Korea

Park Geun-hye has sworn as the first woman President of  South Korea which is the Asia's 4th largest economy.Various challenges which the Ms Park will be confronted are the belligerent regime in the nuclearised neighbourhood, slowing global economy which would have profound impact on Seoul's ecomony which is predominately manufacturing based, decreasing the income and wealth disparity, increased welfare cost in the one of the most rapidly ageing societies.
It is of speculation that How Ms Park convert these challenges into opportunities  and evolved Seoul on the path of high economic growth with equal emphasis on the wealth redistribution and increasing voice of South Korea on the global arena.

Hyderabad blasts :Failure of government

The recent blasts in hyderabad has revealed the lacuna in the state apparatus. It have pointed towards the gap between the intelligence information gathering and the action on it thereafter.Despite the information that the area Dilsukhnagar was surveyed by the Indian Mujahideen terrorist outfit the immediate questions come that why the potential target area was not subjected to more intensive policing and surveillance.
Do this point towards the non-seriousness on the part of the state police towards the security of its citizens.
In the past it has been revealed that with extra precautions and more use of the technologies such as installing CCTV cameras, bomb detection mechanism such attacks have been avoided.
The only deterence to these terrorist attacks is to increase the security measures which could frustrate their terror agenda and disincentivise their pursuit of spreading terrorism.

Energy Crisis in India - Problem and Solutions

As India is on the path of economic modernization and high economic growth,The major Issue confornting New Delhi is Energy Security. To Sustain the economic growth and with emphasis on green energy sources in all over the world. The only solution lies is in Renewable Energy and Judicious Use of Existing Energy Sources.

Major Issues :

1.India energy requirements are mainly fulllfilled by the coal based resources and import of petroleum products.
2.Huge loss of energy while electricity transmission.
3.High initial cost of installation for Renewable Energy Project.
4.High Domestic subsidies which distort the domestic market and  leading to misuse of precious energy.

Solution :
India is blessed with ample source of renewable energy be it wind ,hydro ,tidal  or solar energy.except Hydropower project which requries impact  analysis on the ecology, rest can be easy setup.
If the renewable energy projects are promoted on large scale then the Initial cost of setup will be automatically reduced with the push towards technological development and due to the increased competition.
A National Power Grid which will connect all the regional grids need to be compeleted on an urgent basis.
Smart Grid could be used which will reduce the transmission loss and will also increase the revenue of the government with effective delivery and efficient billing mechanism.
In India the highly subsidied electricity and controlled priced diesel led to misuse of the electricity but the domestic subsidies reduction need to be accompanied by increased production and reforms in power sector.
